Burger with mashed potatoes

We need:

 

4 oz beef mincemeat
1/3 onion
1 parsley sprig
1 slice of whole wheat bread
2 teaspoons of olive oil
oregano
salt
pepper

 

 

For the mashed potatoes:
1 potato
1/8 cup of lowfat milk
1 teaspoon of margarine
salt
pepper

Preparation

Boil the peeled potato in a casserole with water, for 30 minutes until it soften.

In a bowl with water wet the slice of bread.

Preheat the oven in 180o C.

In a bowl put the mincemeat, the grated onion, the chopped parsley, salt, pepper and the slices of bread, after removing the crust and squeezing them well. Work the mixture until it intermixes and then make one burger. Spread oil on it sprinkle it with oregano and grill it turning it from two sides for 20-25 minutes.

Meanwhile remove the potato from the casserole with a skimmer, pass it from the vegetables mill and put it in a bowl, with the hot milk, the margarine, salt and pepper. Mix the materials until they intermix.

Serve burger with mashed potato
